Love Minus Zero Presents TOM NEVILLE - SICK EP

Tom Neville has all to often been tagged as simply an Electro DJ/Producer. But those of you who are fans of his catalogue of work, you will be aware that his talents range much further than the electric touch...

Still only a young man, Tom has been producing for many years. Known for his super club friendly original productions and his long list of remix work, his career to date has seen him remix for hugely successful artists such as Mylo, Kelis, The Feeling and Spektrum.

His own Love Minus Zero label is proving to be just as successful as the man himself. With releases already, from Chaim, Spektrum and Tommy Four Seven... and support from some of the worlds finest DJ talent, the label is proving to be a hit!

So we bring you the next, Its Tom himself who steps up to the plate this time with a cracking three track EP to launch them into 2008!

Sick leads the way and is well worthy of the title. Heavy assed beats coupled with a demonic synth lead bass attack. This should come with a government health warning, but for now its being stamped as Hazardous!

East In The City, at a guess, is Toms tribute to living in Hackney London, and for me its a perfect sound scape. A part of the City that is renowned for its Cool tag of recent years, yet equally full of freakish life forms! East In The City is very cool, yet at the same time has that freakish flavour!

To round off the EP Tom delivers some electro funk. His answer to the head down seriousness of much of todays sounds is this wonderful electro groove, laden with wonderful string parts. I defy anyone to keep their feet still to this!

Great stuff from a hot talent and an exciting label. Keep em peeled for more hot material soon! Also, watch out for Toms new band project ColouringIn.

Track List:

A: SICK

B: EAST IN THE CITY

B1: DISCO T

Sander Kleinenberg – “This is quality.”

Matt Thomas – (King Unique) – “Got an early version of Sick from Tom previously - cant believe its only just getting released now and I get to play it out again :) Brilliant track.”

Evil Nine – “Sick is excellent.
